Our program is currently up and running at our pilot school, Lake Forest Elementary in El Dorado Hills. This program provides lunchtime activities including but not limited to raking, weeding, watering, painting outdoor murals and rocks, planting, composting, and harvesting seasonal fruits and vegetables; in addition to education regarding sustainable practices, garden planning and maintenance.

Project Green provides a safe and encouraging atmosphere for children to gather while cultivating relationships and learning to garden. This garden also provides a sanctuary for all special day class students.

The Lake Forest garden is proud to feature an indoor hydroponics learning system to encourage the learning of sustainable growing practices.
