Cultivating youth through community & school gardens
Our Mission
Engaging students to grow our community’s school gardens by creating a safe outdoor educational environment while nurturing emotional and social development.

Why Project Green? Why Now?
Gardening has always provided solace to many. A school garden is a safe space to work, learn and grow while being one with nature. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the mental and physical health of school-aged children suffered dramatically. Project Green’s lunchtime garden programs offer a space for kids to work together towards a common goal while also providing an environment in which they can learn and grow as one. Digging in the dirt and watching a plant grow from a small seedling can do wonders for the soul. Friendships and comradery come naturally while working in the garden together.
